Brigade Standpipe

In applications where water is needed to be extracted from an underground hydrant, standpipes can be a practical solution. These standpipes are designed to allow a hose to be connected to a water supply. The integrated check valve in the standpipe ensures that the water flows in only one direction, preventing backflow and contamination of the water source.

The base connection is another feature of these standpipes. It provides a practical way to connect to underground hydrants and water supplies, making it possible to access water sources that are not easily accessible otherwise.

Standpipes are commonly used by water utility contractors and the fire and rescue service as they provide an easy way to connect to water sources during emergencies. They are also used in commercial and industrial applications, where a temporary water supply is needed. For example, they can be used in construction sites to provide the workers with water for cleaning, dust suppression and other purposes.

Hydrant Standpipes are a practical solution for areas without running water supply. They are safe, dependable, and commonly used in emergencies, construction sites, and other applications where a temporary water supply is needed.

EQUIPMENT TESTING

At Parsch, we take testing and certification of our standpipes very seriously. Our standpipes are put through rigorous in-house testing to ensure their ability to withstand the water pressures encountered while connecting to a water supply. Our 'Hydrostatic Pressure Test Procedure' is designed to guarantee that our equipment can handle a working pressure of up to 16 bar, ensuring that our standpipes are safe and reliable under normal operating conditions.

To test the standpipes, we pressurise them to 22.5 bar for a period of at least 2 minutes, ensuring they can withstand high levels of pressure and are safe to use in any situation. This testing procedure is an important step in ensuring that our equipment is safe for use under a wide range of water pressure situations and that you can rely on it for many years to come. Our testing procedure is designed to simulate the real-world pressures and conditions that these standpipes may encounter, so you can rest assured that they will perform as expected when you need them most.

At Parsch, we are committed to providing high-quality equipment that meets the needs of our customers. Our testing procedures are just one of the many ways we strive to ensure that our standpipes are safe, reliable, and ready to handle whatever job you have in store for them
