Our standpipe converter is designed to provide a safe and secure way to convert a female brigade outlet into a standard single ¾” bib tap for water extraction. This converter is an ideal solution for contractors working on construction sites, as it allows them to adapt a brigade standpipe into a contractor's standpipe with ease.

To use the standpipe converter, simply connect the male instantaneous inlet to the female instantaneous outlet on the standpipe. This will create a bib tap outlet, which can be used to extract water as required. The built-in check valve is an important safety feature, as it restricts the backflow of water to prevent water contamination. This ensures that the water being extracted is safe to use and free from any harmful contaminants.

Our standpipe converter is made from high-quality materials and is built to last. It is easy to install and can be used with both hot and cold water systems. With this converter, contractors can work with confidence, knowing that they have a reliable and safe way to extract water on-site.

Equipment Testing

At Parsch, we take testing and certification of our standpipes very seriously. Our standpipes are put through rigorous in-house testing to ensure their ability to withstand the water pressures encountered while connecting to a water supply. Our 'Hydrostatic Pressure Test Procedure' is designed to guarantee that our equipment can handle a working pressure of up to 16 bar, ensuring that our standpipes are safe and reliable under normal operating conditions.

To test the standpipes, we pressurise them to 22.5 bar for a period of at least 2 minutes, ensuring they can withstand high levels of pressure and are safe to use in any situation. This testing procedure is an important step in ensuring that our equipment is safe for use under a wide range of water pressure situations and that you can rely on it for many years to come. Our testing procedure is designed to simulate the real-world pressures and conditions that these standpipes may encounter, so you can rest assured that they will perform as expected when you need them most.

At Parsch, we are committed to providing high-quality equipment that meets the needs of our customers. Our testing procedures are just one of the many ways we strive to ensure that our standpipes are safe, reliable, and ready to handle whatever job you have in store for them.
