What are the three groups of nozzles?
There are four categories of nozzles in the revised standards: basic, constant gallonage, constant pressure, and constant/select gallonage. Fire hose nozzles are basic nozzles with a spray pattern that can be adjusted. Discharge is delivered at a set pressure and setting for the designated nozzle.
How do I know what size pressure washer nozzle I need?
Choose the appropriate nozzle size based on the pressure washer's GPM (Gallons Per Minute). A small nozzle can damage your equipment. A large nozzle will reduce your cleaning ability. Choosing the correct nozzle size is not affected by the degree of the nozzle fan.
